The nearly 8,000-square-foot Phytos facility will use multiple extraction methods, one of the most high-tech methods being CO2 extraction. This extraction method will allow Phytos to use subcritical and supercritical carbon dioxide to extract cannabinoids and other components of cannabis with little to no post-processing. These methods are very precise and can produce consistent and reliable cannabis products.
"With shared facility space with our cultivation business, Sinse Cannabis, Phytos has the unique ability to produce live resin products, allowing our team to extract fresh plant material at sub-zero temperatures, preserve delicate terpenes, and produce high-quality, flavorful concentrates," said Dr. Stephanie Cernicek." In addition, Phytos has a state-of-the-art computerized automated filling machine for vape pens, chewing gum and tinctures, ensuring that products are made accurately and consistently."
Phytos has also partnered with other brands to offer customized cannabis-infused products that should be available in February to Missouri patients who have been eagerly awaiting products such as pre-rolled joints, edibles, vapes and concentrates. phytos will be the first company in the state to offer topicals. Patient favorites such as SWADE brand glass pre-packs are expected to hit shelves immediately, with pre-rolled joints following close behind.
